Hospital Blues, New CU Products With A Sale, & A Blog Gift

So I guess I just couldn't stay away from doctors & hospitals - last Saturday afternoon I was brought to the hospital via ambulance. Now, never having had this experience before - I can honestly say that I NEVER want to repeat it! The weather was a horror - cold, sleety rain, and huge winds ... and here I am being wheeled around in it! Definitely not one of my finer moments in life.

And why was I brought to the hospital? It seems that I had a nasty virus from hell, plus my IBS was acting up in the worst way ... these two things combined had me so sick and weak that I truly felt I was going die if I didn't seek immediate medical attention. Long story short: X-rays, Cat scans, Iv's, lovely narcatics ... and they sent me home several hours later with instructions to call my GI and my primary. OH yeah, and they found a "nodule" on my kidney ... which I still don't have any information about.

So, I get home ... Mike goes out to get the prescriptions filled ... the pain killers wear off and I'm about right back where I started. I decide to try to take another hot shower (was about the only thing that had mad me feel human) sitting on my shower bench ... and the lights go out! That's right - due to the storm our entire neighborhood goes dark. Mike calls the power company and we get told that the lights will be back at 2 am. Well ... that didn't happen. Mike calls back and is now told it may be DAYS. The house is already getting cold and I'm feeling sicker. We end up evacuating to my g/friend Susan's house where she took great care of me (Thanks Susan!). Finally, this past friday things started to improve for me and I've been actually feeling up to working and whatnot. I'm going in tomorrow for lab work and I guess the doctor rounds will begin again. So, that's why I disappeared again! lol

But, I've been busy this past weekend and I've put a bunch of new products into my stores. I hope that you'll like them ... heck, I won't lie I need the sales! lol So, here's what I've got new in the stores:

You know what big babies men are when they are sick, but then this is the first time he has ever had anything that lasted as long as this one does. Thanks for this gift, I just happened to be working on the ADSD April kit so it will come in handy.

thank you
make sure to get enough potassium in your diet - when I was really sick like that a couple of years ago, the ER told me I was lucky I didn't have a heart attack because not being able to keep anything down, my levels were critical & you sound like you were feeling like I was
