Yep, you read right! Had my appointment today with admissions and it turns out that their licensure program is actually a Masters of Education program! How cool is that? Same amount of time and money - I feel like I'm getting a bonus!! Looks like I can't start until January due to timing (unless every little thing falls into place very quickly - including my taking and passing the Praxis first time I take it); but that' s okay ... more time to get store going and designs done! In addition, I'll be able to find and apply for some grants and such to help with the cost. And ... I really need to take some time to actually SCRAP! Hopefully, I can get to that this weekend! I've got so many irons in the fire that I'm getting quite confused! LOL

DH and I had brunch after the meeting and then went over to Barnes & Noble where I spent way too much money! We went there just to get the study guide ... but, it's a book store! How could I not look around? *grins* I ended up getting some really cool resource books about photoshop (which I'll be installing this weekend - CS3) and digital scrapbooking! LOL

Catherine, from one of the yahoo groups I belong to, sent me this layout she did using my "Sophisticated Chocoloate" Kit. Isn't is awesome? That picture was just perfect for this kit! And she did a great job on the title work! And what a little cutie the subject of this photo is!! Definitely a DIVA in the making!

I want to thank Catherine - it's so cool to see your designs being used! Many hugs to you Catherine!!

I was super busy today - creating lots of different things! I ended up designing a "mini" kit ... but really, the only thing mini is the papers - there's just four papers - but they are just lovely! Also in the kit are 4 ribbons, 3 buttons, 2 brads, 2 roses, 1 torn cardstock, and a really cool envelope frame! Wanna see?

Isn't it too yummy? I really enjoyed designing this one! I'm calling her "Anna." I'll be leaving this up for only 24 hours. So, what are you waiting for? Grab it HERE! (((So sorry, this freebie has expired! Please visit my shop.)))

My partner Traci has a wicked freebie on her blog! I know you'll want to grab it too ... take a look:

Pretty cool stuff, eh? Run on over to her blog and grab it! You can also read about some store news there!

Thanks to everyone who has left me comments ... they really are all so encouraging! It's so nice to know that my designs are liked and appreciated. Amazing how much I smile as I'm reading all the comments! Please feel free to send any layouts you create using my designs - I'd love to see them and post them on my blog!

Cya next time!

Hugs,
Babette

I'm nosy about what books you got at barnes & noble - I have a gift card for there so I'm pondering what to buy. I have taken the Praxis before -- are you taking I or II? I took I and it wasn't bad at all. Email me if you have a chance about the books saral24 at gmail.com
