New Doodle Frames & A Freebie

Hey All!

Well it's been an "interesting" week! My pc finally took it's life - yes, the hard drive has failed. Thankfully, I saw it coming and made sure that everything was backed up in a couple of different places. I ended up purchasing an entire new desktop system ... and oh joy, isn't it SOOO much fun re-installing everything?? I'm really sick of having to find new drivers since I'm switching from XP to Vista. Oh and if anyone has any Vista tips - send them my way! lol It's a pretty cool system - comes with 8 gigs of memory, a 750 GB hard drive. The processor is a quad-core and has a nice speed - 2.5 GHz. The monitor is 24" and has a resolution of 1920 x 1200 ... oh, and you can completely rotate it to use in portrait mode! Pretty cool, but doubtful that I'll ever really use that feature. LOL But, the colors are so rich & vibrant - makes the other monitor look drab and dreary! I just installed Photoshop last night and I was literally blown away. Although I wasn't looking forward to having to spend the money for a new system, it really is nice. Now I just have to pay for it! LOL

Had a dentist appointment 2 days ago ... a cleaning and fillings - did I mention I hate dentists? This man is super sweet and gentle, yet I still freak out. He's really patient w/me (as are the hygenists) and stops when I need to. I have quite a bit of work to have done ... so this is just the "beginning" - seems I have an appointment every couple of weeks for the next 6 weeks!

What's everyone doing this weekend? Valentine's Day is also Mike & I's anniversary - we'll be celebrating 2 years! We're spending the evening w/our friends who were also our best man and matron of honor. I'm looking forward to a good time. We couldn't get reservations to the restaurant we wanted to go to and Susan (matron of honor) decided she would cook for us! Isn't that the sweetest? The menu sounds like heaven ... Blue cheese encrusted steaks, double-backed potatoes, asparagus wrapped in procutto, and some sort of green bean dish. I haven't heard about dessert ... but I'm sure it's gonna be yummy! Mike made reservations to "The Melting Pot" for next week-end (they were booked for Valentine's Day since January 14th!) and we're all going celebrate again then! :)

Before all the pc issues I had been working on a new pack - "Doodle Frames 01"

Photobucket

Fun, right? There are 12 frames included - .pgns as well as brush .ABR file for photoshop users. They're only available in DSW right now - I just haven't had time to upload to all my stores. Of course, this is CU/S4H-O/PU and credit while appreciated, is never required. Only $5.99 for these adorable frames.

Buy Yours At DigiScrap Warehouse

Of course, I had to make you all a little sample. This doodle frame will not be offered in the pack, only as a blog gift!

((Blog Gift has expired))

This will remain available until next Friday sometime. Please enjoy it and remember, I always love hearing from you all. Hopefully, this next week will be more peaceful! Have an awesome weekend and I hope that you all are celebrating with someone special!!

Hugs,
Babette

Thank you so much for today's goodie! Those doodles are just great! I happen to LOVE doodles :-).
I fully understand the dentist-aphobia as I have it too. I'd rather be knocked out while they do ANYTHING! *shiver*
Have a wonderful time tonite and Happy Anniversary!!!! Actually, it will probably be better to go out next weekend and celebrate again, as the prices won't be inflated like they tend to be on holidays like New Years, Valentines Day, Mothers Day, etc. Tonite's menu sounds YUMMM-MMEEEE! Enjoy!

Thanks for the great frame freebie. I love it.

I don't know if you've ever been to the Melting Pot, but I love it. I'm sure it will be fun.

Have a great Valentine's day! The menu sounds wonderful!

Thanks so much for this gorgeous frame give-away. Love your work! It has provided inspirattion for an element for my new kit. (if it ever sees the light of day. These things take forever to do.) I've tried to do a frame based on yours. It didn't come out as well; advanced benzier tool manoeuvers required. If you don't mind your name associated with the result, then I'll credit you for original inspiration. *g*
